kTB Low Phase Noise (PDRO)

The PDRO50L and PDRO57L are ultra-compact, low-phase-noise Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (DROs) designed for high-frequency RF/microwave applications. The PDRO50L operates from 1–16 GHz, while the PDRO57L extends coverage to 1–44 GHz, making them ideal for systems requiring wideband performance. Both models deliver ≥10 dBm output power with exceptional phase noise as low as -174 dBc/Hz @1 MHz (PDRO50L at 1 GHz) and -148 dBc/Hz @1 MHz (PDRO57L at 10 GHz).

Featuring internal or external reference options, robust harmonic suppression (≥60 dBc), and a compact footprint (e.g., PDRO50L: 50.8×47.8×15.7 mm), these oscillators balance precision, power efficiency, and reliability for demanding environments.

The General Applications:

  • Satellite Communication: Stable signal generation for transponders and high-frequency transceivers.
  • Radar and EW Systems: Low-noise frequency sources for phased-array radar and electronic warfare (EW) applications.
  • Test & Measurement: Calibration of spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and millimeter-wave test setups.
  • Aerospace and Defense: Critical systems requiring ultra-low phase noise, such as navigation and SIGINT platforms.
  • Broadband Wireless: High-frequency signal synthesis for 5G, mmWave, and beyond.
